This competition is hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) in the lead-up to World Meteorological Day (WMD) 2026 celebrations. This year’s WMD theme is “Observing Today, Protecting Tomorrow.”
Trinidad and Tobago’s beautiful landscapes provide the perfect backdrop to highlight the beauty of the skies. At the beginning and the ending of each day, the most magical and beautiful scenery is often observed. The TTMS is seeking high-quality and artistic photographs captured at sunrise and sunset. Entries should showcase the unique vibe of dawn and dusk, whether it's the city skyline, a landscape, or just a scene bathed in that golden light.
The top 12 photographs will be featured in the TTMS 2027 online calendar, published across TTMS social media platforms, and showcased during World Meteorological Day 2026 celebrations.
Special prizes will be awarded to the top 3 entries selected by a judging panel.
