Tropical Storm Gabrielle - No threat to Trinidad and Tobago
Tropical Storm Gabrielle which developed in the Central Atlantic has a broad centre near 18N 47W. Gabrielle is a very disorganized storm and is expected to continue on a west north-westward track and veer away from the Eastern Caribbean Island chain.
THIS IS THE FINAL STATEMENT ON GABRIELLE WHICH POSES NO DIRECT THREAT TO TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO. THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO WATCHES OR WARNINGS, IN EFFECT FOR TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO.
The TTMS will continue to monitor Tropical Storm Gabrielle and all areas of interest and update the public in a timely manner of any impending weather events.
